Character Bios
Character Bios.
- Ella the Elephant - Ella is the main protagonist of the story. She washes upon the island of penguins where she is raised as one of their own. One day she realizes that she is not actually a penguin and becomes upset. She then comes to realize that no mater where you come from or what you look like family is family.
- Ella starts off as a baby and then grows up throughout a series of montages in the film.
- Pan the Penguin - Pan is an over eccentric little penguin that one day stumbles upon Ella's crate and brings her home to his village. Pan is the one that inevitably shows Ella that family is important and that they love her no matter what.
- Pan is also a child in the beginning, he grows up alongside Ella. Unfortunately for Pan, he does not grow much taller.
- The Villagers - The villagers of Penguin Island are all fun loving happy characters. They like to spend their free time playing in drum circles and roasting marshmallows. The villagers do not necessarily have important character roles. They are merely what non animated film would consider "extras."
- The Shop Keep - The shop owner doesn’t pertain much to the story, but he is a character none the less. His job is to run the island trading post where Pan purchases the trumpet for Ella after the climax of the film.
