                                                                     Treatment for Ella

A cargo ship containing a new shipment of animals to a zoo is traveling through a rough storm. One of the crates proceeds to fall off the ship and drift aimlessly as the ship continues its course. The next day the storm has passed and little Pan the penguin is going for a walk on the beach where he discovers a broken crate on the shore line. As he inspects the crate the side opens and reveals a small elephant inside. Excited as to what he discovers Pan tries to approach the startled elephant and she is skeptical at first, but once she realizes that Pan means her no harm she goes with him back to his village. The village of penguins is small, but functional. the penguins like to have campfires and roast marshmallows while they play bongos and other lively island music.
Ella grows up on the island with her new family. She learns how to play drums. Collect rocks and search for fish. One day during the normal drum circle, Ella has grown too large and breaks one of the drums. this proceeds to happen until she has broken the biggest drum that they have. Feeling bad and out of place Ella runs back to where she was found all those years ago and stares down at her reflection. She sees that she is different. Pan, at this point who is basically her brother, approaches her and before he can try to comfort her she turns away. She feels like there is nothing that anyone can do to make her feel like she belongs again.
Pan decides that it is up to him to help his sister. he goes back into town ad visits the only shop. he explains the situation to the shop keeper and he make the perfect suggestion. A new trumpet. Pan excitedly rushes back to his sister to give her her gift. Ella picks up the trumpet and blows a beautiful tune instinctively. Pan and Ella then make their way back to the village where everyone was waiting for them. Ella shows her new trumpet and the villagers look surprised, but once she plays a sweet melody

they all know that everything is back to normal and they can play music again together and be one big happy family.
